Besides Sanlitun Bar Street you can also go to Houhai Bar Street, which is behind the Forbidden City and along the Houhai Lake where is the old living area of Beijing. Bars in the traditional buildings were well decorated with different styles. It is very nice to drink and enjoy the breeze of the lake at the same time in the night. Of course there are many bars scattered in Beijing and other big cities. Generally speaking, the drinks in the bars are not cheap. One small bottle of Heineken beer will cost you 5USD.
